Fingerprint

A physically rich representation of data automatically generated from the raw characterization or measurement data. Fingerprints separate signal from background and standardize the information extracted to maximize compatibility of comparing two fingerprints. Fingerprints will not necessarily match the exact expert-rendered intuition of a dataset representation, but because they are generated without parameter configuration, they can be compared effectively and with reduced bias.
